Basic Tactical Knife

Description: This class is designed to provide students with the fundamental knowledge and skills for effectively working with a bladed weapon, specifically focusing on tactical knives. Participants will be trained in both offensive and defensive techniques, with an emphasis on blade safety and building self-confidence. The class includes stress-based scenario training to simulate real-life situations and observe students’ responses under pressure. Distance assessment while using an edged weapon will also be covered, ensuring students understand the importance of maintaining the appropriate distance during combat situations.

Requirements:

  • Water: Participants are advised to bring water to stay hydrated during the class.
  • Notebook and pen: Students should bring a notebook and pen to take notes during the class, as there will be important information to remember.
  • Athletic clothes: Participants should wear athletic clothes or clothing that allows free movement to facilitate practical training exercises.

Minimum Enrollment: The class requires a minimum of three students to proceed as scheduled. If there are fewer than three participants, the class may be canceled or rescheduled.

Class Objectives:

  • Offensive Skills: Learn effective techniques for using a tactical knife in offensive scenarios, understanding proper angles and movements for maximum efficiency.
  • Defensive Skills: Develop defensive strategies to protect oneself against potential threats, including blocking and countering techniques.
  • Blade Safety: Emphasize the importance of blade safety to minimize the risk of accidents during training and real-life situations.
  • Self-Confidence: Boost self-confidence in handling a bladed weapon through progressive training and practice.
  • Stress-Based Scenario Training: Experience simulated real-life scenarios to better understand how to apply learned skills under pressure.
  • Distance Assessment: Understand the significance of maintaining appropriate distance while using an edged weapon and adjust tactics accordingly.

Note: This class is intended for individuals seeking introductory knowledge and practical skills in working with tactical knives. Participants should be aware that this is a physically demanding class involving martial arts-like movements.
